Live: For Food And Culture, Cells, and Speechless

In this corner of northern hemisphere the beginning of summer happened to be uncommonly rainy and cold. All the better to cherish with your darling or bear cub under the quilt and put on the background one of 3 sets, which are, to my great joy, finally appeared on the net.

First one — Live For Food And Culture — is a quintessence of new compositions, that reflects my current likings in ambient music. Concerning sound it’s the most quality one – I spent much time on mastering, and consider it as my best work to date. That’s why I don’t give it out for free, but offer to purchase the album for only $4 USD.

Second set is Cells, appeared on June, 2nd for free at friendly formation FuseLab. This live characterizes as gloomy, low-frequent sounding — formerly my very favourite, take, for example, the album Unit 21 — November. Though in Cells it is more melodic and less noisy, which is nice to me today.

Third set — Speechless live is online for some time already in mp3-192. Perhaps it’s the most introspective and narrative from these three, if you still don’t have it, I recommend to download set for free.

December Remixes announced

Hello. After the month of silence, during which I have eventually graduated from a university with diploma in economics, I’d like to speak shortly about plans.

There are 3 releases on Occasion going to be done in the next half of the year. The first is long-time announced compilation of remixes on December tracks, which I want to put in print in 2 weeks or so. Hope, it will make you glad and catch at least a bit of failing winter.

Also one of new Russian musical formations asked me to record a podcast for them, and I’ll try to merge it, if I can, with regular Hometown Air on the Openstream radio. Be in touch.

And of course, my thanks to those, who purchased or downloaded music during winter discounts period and wrote back some warm feedbacks – it is very important for me.

Good winter morning! Hurrying to inform that today at 9 PM Moscow at Openstream radio you can listen to my speechless live, consisting of new compositions basically. An hour of music, that can be spent decorating your Christmas tree, having a tea party, or imagining yourself in a foggy Japanese forest alone with your headphones and your thoughts.

While on Occasion or Vital weekly website you can read the thoughts of Frans de Waard about the album Made Of Cloth And Feather, which was described by him as “winter mood music”.

Beside that only until 15th January of the coming year the album It Comes With Nothing, recorded together with Sleepy Town Manufacture, can be downloaded for free.

News from the cyberworld

Hello everyone! I am about to tell you what’s new happened during the last few days.

Firstly, on the Friday night I’ve accomplished 4 hours live in 3 projects – it was intensely, and the result is recorded. Consequently there will be more interesting works released in these collaborations (w/ Olga Shaydullina and Ivan «Lou» Lukyanov). In addition on the next day I was engaged in interview for local TV program.

Secondly, I’ve remixed one of the wicked cyberpunk tracks by Plastikman – Ask Yourself. I’ve heard the album Closer for the first time in 2003 and wasn’t really impressed, but later I have tasted that music and enjoyed most of it I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Thirdly, there are 50% discounts on Occasion! Dear friends, if you like my free releases, and would not mind to support me by purchasing, the time is now. I promise to put out some more quality and heartfelt releases in a reasonable time, and surely will do a little Christmas gift specially for old vocal electronica lovers
